I was in the paint shop this morning and saw this miss tint on the counter, I knew this was the color I wanted to use on this sweet little desk.
Loads of character I have painted the entire piece white then added the blue on the drawer fronts.
Re-stained timber top.
Nine drawers means plenty of storage.
I could have gone with crystal knobs but decided there was nothing wrong with the old hardware.

Oh yes! Why are there always the cutest blues is the misstints, so funny! That desk would go well with my french country sideboard, the mouldings are similar and of course the colours although the other way around.
It is raining here, I am painting my downstairs front entry, sick of it being so dark and have only got the primer on but it is so much lighter already…can't paint it all because of all the brick, but even the inside of the front door and the side of the staircase looks awesome. Just stopped to have a Coke, better get back to it, school pickup soon!

Gorgeous pop of colour – I love the miss tints / oops paints section – I have lost count of the number of times I have stumbled on the exact (or close enough to) shade I was shopping for. And at (usually) $5 a litre it makes for super budget makeovers!
