How Sweet It Is

I finally bought this little beauty up to the house today so show her off.
Funny thing was I almost walked straight past it. I wondered over, opened the doors and then it was love at first sight.

I was told by the sweet old man that sold it to me that it originated from the Surfers Paradise Post Office, as you can see from the sticky labels inside.

This blue and white bowl is made in Portugal and was also a sweet find this week.

H and K Tunstall milk jug.
Lettering and numbers on the side of the cabinet.

It was purchased with castors already on it, we just replaced them with some smaller ones as its much easier to move around.

Freshly picked Eiffel Tower Roses.

Have a fantastic day.

What a great old cabinet. Isn't it fun knowing the history of it, too?
That bowl is wonderful. I have a similar one that I use when I make bread. xo Diana

Hi sandy, it's lovely. You always have such great finds.
Our floors are cling along. Have to repaint the walls and skirtings also. Half the lounge room is almost done. I'll send some photos once I've got the cabinets and furniture back in place, it's extremely rustic….I'm going to just pretend that's the look I was going for. Not much else I can do…
    Have a lovely day.
    Cheers Fiona

I have the exact same little glass vase! I picked it up at a market for $5. I love it! That gorgeous little cabinet is a treasure. Please don't paint it! I love it as it is.
Hope your Sunday is a restful one!
    Cheers!
