Antique Lamp Table

You may remember this lamp table from here when I posted about some cute bird cages. Well it got the better of me this week so whilst painting some other bits and pieces I grabbed the table and gave it a makeover.

The top was sanded back to its bare timber and re-stained whilst the base was given a fresh coat of paint and sanded heavily.

Roses from my garden.

This was the table before which was fine but I felt it just needed some spunk.
It is now available to purchase at shop 62 Woolloongabba Antique Centre.
Enjoy your weekend.

Sandy looks great. I love the contrast of the stained top with the base.

Its simply beautiful! Would you be willing to share with me the specific color blue that you used? I'm almost ready ti makeover my kitchen table. Looks like you painted it white first, then blue, then sanded and glazed? Thanks so much! Toushay73 at gmail dot com
