I had not been treasure hunting for some weeks so when I set out today I was not over excited as I know how hard it has been lately to find treasures. With the economic crisis it seems people are opting to buy second hand items as apposed to brand new therefore good quality items are getting snapped up quickly. For young ones that are starting out I would highly recommend pre-loved and vintage pieces. You can furnish a house for a fraction of the price making your items individual as apposed to department store mass produced items. Anyway geting back to my finds I got 8 pieces today – lovely desks, some beautiful timber bench stools, lovely dining table, beachy stripe tree chair, coffee table and a gorgeous pine chest of drawers. Now the fun begins with the prepping and painting. Have a good weekend all.
