Same thing with my followers, they have been coming and going for the past few days.
Do you get an electrician to check the lamp bases you buy? I have a couple of old ones which I love but am scared to use as they make a scarey noise when I switch them on. They both need new shades too but I'm waiting for a tutorial by some kind person to guide me through the process ;o)
I also have 8 small chandelier shades that need recovering and don't know how to go about it.
Don't know why but I've missed your last few posts. Have to keep my eyes open!

Ange lucky for me my brother in law is an electrician and I have a handy husband of course. So if I am unsure about a lamp I would definetly have it re-wired. Doesn't take much to have this done at all.
