I picked this coffee table up on the weekend and really walked past it about 3 times before I thought how nice it would look painted. It was originally a dark timber as I can see underneath but someone had painted it a terrible salmon colour. It’s as solid as a rock and the old man I purchased it from said it was a very old piece. So it got painted yesterday and I just love it. Thought the shape was very unusual and all my books now have a new home – well for this week anyway.
