Yes must agree that I love the screen in the second picture as well. I have this wroght iron one that is very silmiliar (here it is) very heavey – can you believe it is still black. I just haven’t got around to painting this as quite liked it as is However think i will have to paint it now after seeing that white one.

Love that screen, even moreso will it be gorgeous in white. TTFN~Marydon

You know what, I actually disagree with painting it white. With so much that is already white it provides a pop of something else. Still very elegant and a lovely item that looks like a bit of old European style amongst all your other beautiful things. Perhaps back it with some sumptuous damask (gathered)to tie into the white. But of course it is yours to do with as YOU wish.
Just my little opinion 🙂

Hi Irene I think this is why I have actually kept it black for so long. It does not get lost in all the white and actually does make a statement black thanks for the input.

Wow what a beauty. Where do you find such gorgeous treasures?
Well I swing in the white direction as far as painting is concerned, how gorgeous would it look at Christmas with those little white twinkle lights on them too.

P.S: I think I may need to add one of these to my 'Wanted' list, I had my eye on a timber one but the scrolly iron is just so romantic looking, love it.

Where did you find that baby? I think screens are a rarity. Great find. Lucky, lucky.
Toodles.

Well I think white only if it is stress out quite a bit. One more thing I absolutely love your header. The color of aqua I believe it is, has a very nice touch to the room. I'm going back to stare at it for awhile.
