Hi Sandy, Must say that fabric on the lampshade is lovely. Thanks for dropping by, the timber is silky oak, it would have had a little mirror on the back, but it would look great given the "Sandy treatment" and some new handles as the ones on it now are awful to say the least, cheers Katherine
