During all the running around today I did manage an op shop or two – as you do. A few weeks ago I was in an antique store and saw this amazing cruet set, as much as I loved it I refused to pay the high price tag. Then low and behold look what I found today in the op shop for an absolute bargain. It’s almost identical to the one I previously saw. Just pays to wait and all good things will come. Oh the flowers were a nice find too some gladies in my own garden.

Sandy, I'm sorry but you're just going to have to take me op shopping with you sometime. I haven't got a clue where to find them here! Haven't even made it to an auction yet (only to sell stuff) which I used to do religiously every week back home.
You're right, if you wait, something as good or better usually comes along.

If by op shopping you mean thrifting or junking, then I'm in. I do it all the time. I posted some of the china collections I've come across on my blog. Don't you just love getting things for a bargain…it's the best way to go. Your home is gorgeous, by the way.

Fantastic find- this set was just meant to be in your home Sandy:) Funny thing, I went op-shopping whilst away and bought an oval bevelled mirror exactly the same as the one you have put your set on in the pic above! What great taste we have 😉 Love those gladdies!! Have a lovely weekend – Tina x

Hi Sandy,
I love the set you picked up. I was reading earlier post and I love your home especially the floors. I love the concrete, but the white treatment looks great.
