Table Transformation

This dining table was one of the first things I purchased when we moved to Queensland about 15 years ago. It has seen many looks from being plain old boring timber, then painted white and now sanded and destressed. Got my large belt sander out today and took all the white paint off but left some white coming through for a nice rustic look. I am quite liking this rusty look for now. Think it just needs some nice clear varnish to complete the look.

Hi Sandy 🙂 I LOVE what you have done with your table, it looks gorgeous! Thank you for your lovely comment, I just found it after looking at your blog via Mel's Rose Place, how weird is that (in a lovely way of course)!! Your blog is divine and I adore all your lamps, I have made so many for our own home – mostly in the girls' rooms now….) I can't wait to follow your blog in 2010! Have a lovely weekend!

    Great transformation Sandy!
I finally bit the bullet & painted my pogeon holed display case….why on earth did I wait so long?! I love wood for that reason, just like your table, it can be morphed into just about any look your after.
I bet it's warm up your way today, we decided to go for a walk at 8.30am & then I went into Bunnings & the car tempreture said it was about 28/29deg & it was only 9.45!
    Have a great Sunday!
