I made this linen and lace slipcover the other week but finally got to finish it off yesterday with a lovely lace trim. I am a self taught sewer although I can thank my mother in law for some basic sewing lessons. Love how it can be thrown in the wash as no doubt between the dog & the kids it will require lots of washing. Don’t ask me how I did it I think it was by accident that it all turned out.

That is such a great idea. I used to have an ottoman in my living room though it drove me crazy…I was like the ottoman monitor, inspecting peoples feet when they put them up on it! A slip cover is a great idea and yours is so pretty.

Looks great Sandy. You always manage to turn a sows ear into a silk purse, and the little trim looks fantastic. K xx
