I made over some black chairs similiar to these a few months ago so when I found another set of four I could no resist painting them black.

I've always liked the black with the whites. I just purchased a dark black/brown round table for our kitchen dining and paired it with white slipcover chairs. But I do have some old windsor chairs that I am going to paint all chippy white to go with an old farmhouse table that we are refinishing. Who knows, maybe I will end up painting them black since the farmtable will be white.
