Chandelier Love

It was love at first sight when I recently snapped up this matching pair of basket style chandeliers. The previous owner had purchased them over 25 years ago from the Regent Hotel in Brisbane when they were refurbishing. He recently passed away and his wife no longer had the room for them and some how they were offered to me. I was jumping out of my skin when I saw them as I have never seen chandeliers so stunning. 

It’s a bit hard to see but each chandelier has a delicate crystal bell underneath and the most stunning crystal rosette’s all the way around the side. 

I would have bought just one but to have the matching pair was a real bonus to say the least.

These chandeliers would make any home look amazing. I could also imagine them in a restaurant, maybe a shop or even your lounge should your ceilings be high enough. Sadly my ceilings are not that high but I was thinking how good they would look with one each side of my bed over our chest of drawers.  I will do my best to keep them as you just know that something as special as these don’t come along every day.
