We are currently enjoying some beautiful weather and family time on the Sunshine Coast this weekend but I quickly wanted to show you a few goodies that I found this week.
Old Vintage Books, love the color of them.
I bought the old vintage flower press for my husband believe it or not. He is studying Horticulture and needed the press for an assignment.
This old vintage sideboard just melted my heart, I love how old and chippy the paint work is. This one stays as is no need to paint.
A world globe lamp. With many years of thrifting under my belt I can honestly say that I have never come across a globe lamp before. This one is Solid American Oak and is just divine turned on at night.
Enjoy this gorgeous Spring weather and talk to you all next week.

Will the Globe Lamp be going to the WAC? I've been looking for one for my boys' bedroom forever….

I'm so obsessed with vintage books right now, yours are gorgeous! I have that same little lantern thingy, my son bought it for me and I painted it white also:)
Your kids are stunning, they look like models!
Shabby Chic Sandy
You find the coolest stuff! I also love the color of the books and the fact they are the Worlds greatest events (or something like that) is just icing on the cake. Great find! The globe that lights up is also awesome–everything thing is. Thanks for sharing–I enjoy your blog so much.

Any hints on where you shopped, so I can sneak a peek when we get up there? Looks like the store has some amazing things. Enjoy your holiday. x Jode

love your work. i also do shabby chic for my flea market business. i do something i call shabby barn. when your're painting use a heating gun to blister the paint. let it sit over night or longer then sand to your hearts content. it should look like its been in the barn for 20 years. oh i also seal it with a nice warm stain. I can't get over it, I made this wreath last week it was so easy. The thing that makes me so happy is seeing those green Collier books. When I was a kid in Columbus, Ohio around 1957, an encyclopedia salesman came to the door and my mom bought the books and the Collier books were her free gift. I always loved those and finally sold them in 1980. So cool to see them again. Brought back some memories. Thank you and thank you for the wreath.
