When you look back on all the pieces I have made over through the year it really is quite exhausting, but loads of fun. Here is just a snippet of a few of my favorite pieces.
Just got back from a lovely few days away and now have lots to do around the house. I am giving my white floors a fresh coat of paint today and will bring you some new makeovers very soon.
I am celebrating one year of having my shops space at the Antique Centre and would like to giveaway this cute little side table to one lucky blogger that has followed be through the year. Only local Queensland or nearby NSW residents would be eligible to enter as the item would need to be collected. But thank you to all my overseas and interstate followers that have continued to read my blog.
Now all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what inspires you. It’s no surprise that I am inspired by furniture but I am also inspired through the people I meet.
People like Fiona from http://lilyfieldlife.blogspot.com I met Fiona through blogging as we shared the same interest in painted furniture. Now we talk regularly and are inspired by each other.
Fiona drove up from Sydney with her two children so we took some time out yesterday for a coffee.
Winner will be drawn next week.

Well I am in the mid states so can't win anything….but wanted to tell you what inspires me.
Beautiful blog pictures and tutorials.
They inspire me to TRY – or at least lie in bed dreaming I may one day try…….
I absolutely positively want to pretty up furniture in the strongest way, I cannot even explain how much I want to do this.
I hope to try it soon.
One tiny project at a time I would like to paint things white and make them fabulously shabby and wonderful.
YOUR blog is a true inspiration.
Keep up the good work, I sure enjoy seeing your creations!

Hi Sandy, would love a chance to own the gorgeous side table. What inspires me is Summer time, the beach and our warm queensland weather. My other biggest inspiration would be my grandmother, her determination and sense of humour and the bloggers that I follow daily such as yourself. Its nice to connect with others that are passionate and share interests. xox Sanchia

Hi Sandy, I live in Victoria so I won't be able to enter but I just wanted to tell you that I am so inspired by you. I've always loved making over old furniture and crafting, but only took it up again last year as a way of recovering from a personal crisis. I'm really hoping to be able to do what you are store with your store space somewhere here in Melbourne. Anyone that has a passion and has the courage to follow it through is an inspiration to all. All the best for the new year.
Cheers Helen

Gosh! Look at all your beautiful work!
What inspires me? Well, to get out of bed each morning it's thinking of those children that I work with, how hard life can be for them and what can I do to help them.
If it's to do things around the house, it's sites like yours, full of beautiful images to motivate me.

I find inspiration all around me, in fresh cut flowers, in old worn furniture, in rusty metal, in peeling paint, in chippy wood, in tarnished silver, in vintage fabrics, but most of all in my 3 kids precious little faces.
Thanks for inspiring me with your blog throughout the year, and at your shop at Woolloongabba. I love walking in the the Antique Centre and looking right down the end of the aisle at your pretty things waiting to be discovered.
And yes, I live locally and would love that sweet little table to find a home at my house 🙂

I can't believe that you've been at the WAC for a year now. That means that I've been following you for longer than that as I was so excited when you set up shop there and have bought one of your painted trays.
I'm inspired by many things including blogs like yours but when I'm looking for new design ideas, I always turn to beautiful flowers for inspiration.
Keep up the good work! x
