The weeks are just flying by and one can always tell that Christmas in getting closer from all the decorations starting to appear in the shops.
I must admit I have started putting some presents away and plan to be more organised this year than previous ones.
Re-arranging some furniture this afternoon and cutting
roses from the garden.
Enjoy your weekend x

I love how that little red flower adds a touch of liveliness and loveliness in that space. So beautiful.

Oh no Sandy I am still in denial about Christmas, lol! We are going back to NZ for 2 weeks from 21st Dec which I am looking forward to but have no idea how we will do presents for the kids, will Santa find us, will he leave money instead…haha no idea really, just don't need bulky toys etc complicating things!
Have a good weekend!

Hi Sandra – I found you via Pinterest this morning and have been oogling your blog for the past 1/2 hour or more. Lovely refinishing and I just adore the way you take your photos (styling is terrific!!). I just bought a DSLR camera and am in love with it. Taking photos with it energizes me now ('cause they come out much better than my old point and shoot!)
I am a decorative painter in the US – but I have only really started to think about selling my own furniture pieces. I have done so many for clients over the past 12 years I have been in business. (But the majority of the work I have done has been on walls – doing Venetian plaster etc) I am trying to find a place where I can sell my pieces right now – in addition to accumulating pieces to re-do.
I have been to Australia (Sydney for a week and the Gold Coast for 3 weeks). I used to date a man who lives there – almost married him…but I got cold feet. He still lives there – in Elenora (I think that's the name of the town). I LOVED Australia – you really live in the prettiest part of the world!
Are you using Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint? I have done a few projects with it – it's nice stuff but a little pricey. What products do you mainly use?
Hope you write back! But I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed looking at your work! Perhaps I could do a blogpost about you sometime!
